This month The Landmark at Hatchery Hill Blog is helping you ring in the New Year with some helpful tips for your New Year’s Eve. Whether you’re planning an evening out with friends, planning a party, or spending a quiet night at home, we have the information you need to have an awesome New Year’s.
An Evening Out with Friends
Make plans ahead of time. While going out for a spontaneous night of fun can be an adventure, it’s best to make sure that you have a place to go (even if you don’t end up staying!). RSVP to any parties you might attend, and set reservations at any restaurants you might visit.
2.Attend an event. There are plenty of fun things happening in and around Franklin, WI. Milwaukee always has a lot going on, as well, so feel free to visit Milwaukee’s official event website to find your New Year’s Party.
3.Be safe and responsible. Make sure that you have a ride to and from any place you go on New Year’s. Don’t stay out too late, and be prepared for anything that might come up during the night.
Planning a Party
1.Pick the right music. The music you pick for New Year’s will set the mood for the evening. If you want a calm and classy evening, load your playlist with picks from Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Sammy Davis, Jr. If you want a more upbeat playlist, play the top hits from 2016 or a list of dance songs that you and your friends love.
2.Keep the food stocked. You don’t have to cook a full meal for New Year’s, but you definitely need to have appetizers and sides for your guests to snack on through the night. Delish has a great list of New Year’s food (and drinks) that your guests can enjoy all night long.
Staying at Home:
New Year’s Eve is a great holiday, but you don’t have to go out to enjoy it! Relax with a marathon of the best movies from 2016, make your favorite onion rings, and watch the ball drop from the comfort of your Landmark at Hatchery Hill apartment.
What are you planning on doing for New Year’s? Let us know in the comments. Thanks for reading!
