Make them today in your apartment and see which one they like best. Enjoy!

Chicken and Wild Rice Dog Biscuits

These biscuits are only a little complicated. The two primary ingredients are in the title, and once you have those in you just need a little flour, salt, and eggs and you’re ready to bake. They’re meaty, savory, and perfect for dogs of any size. Find the full recipe at the above link.

“One thing I’ve learned since then is that dogs are truly part of your family and since I like to create family friendly meals, I thought it was about time I made something special for our four legged ‘children’.  I decided to go with these Chicken & Wild Rice Biscuits since the food they eat is also chicken and wild rice. I didn’t want to give them ingredients they were unfamiliar with; especially the puppy.”

Doggy Breath Mints

“Who doesn’t love dog kisses? Although we’re always eager to receive some affection from our dog, bad breath can cause us to hesitate a bit. Dogs can get bad breath from plaque build-up caused by infrequent brushing, insufficient water intake, or just from the foods they eat. Our simple DIY dog treats will help get rid of your dog’s bad breath no matter the reason.”

Homemade Peanut-Butter Banana Dog Treats

These treats are almost as simple as it gets, with just three ingredients: peanut butter, bananas, and oats. Just follow the directions in the link above and you’ll soon have some dog treats that are so good you’ll be tempted to eat them yourself!

From the recipe: “I read somewhere that apparently dogs really like bananas, and I already knew that they liked peanut butter, so why not start there? Bananas are also one of those healthy substitutions that you can make instead of using eggs, which means I was relatively confident that these guys would stay stuck together.”
