submitted by Theresa H. - |Recommended: YesMaintenance needs improvement Very kind staff — I would recommend getting a unit that has already been updated. We have unfortunately had an issue with neighbors smoking on their deck. So windows are unable to be open as nothing gets done with this issue. There has been a lot of turnover with staff but currently the Manager is very helpful, Maintenance takes a very long time to get to problems and some problems get a band-aid not a permanent fix.

submitted by Athena B. - |Recommended: YesOverall.. It's just ok... — Nice Neighborhood and parking is great The apartment itself needs some work... Noise- We can here the upstairs neighbors stomping around and having sex, and can hear the downstairs neighbors tv speakers that vibrate our walls. Cleanliness- Landscaping is ok and for the most part things are nice. Some people do not pick up after their dogs, and will even just let them out on a leash without paying attention to people walking by or what their dog does. The containers for pet poop are great to have, but don't get emptied as often as they may need. Construction Maintenance staff- Our layout is pretty nice. We have had mold, damage from our AC unit leaking, damage from our sliding door leaking, paint cracking and peeling, been through 2 dryers because they don't work, refrigerator went out and had to be replaced, water is yellowed and even filters don't get all the coloring out. I'm not even sure if all requests have actually been finished. When you put in maintenance requests you don't always know when people are coming, what they actually did while here if anything or what the next steps are. There is a lack of communication when it comes to maintenance that goes on. The people who come if they do show are nice. Property Staff- All seem very nice and say hi, but we have been through so many people it is hard to keep up and makes it difficult to know what gets relayed to the next person. I'm really not sure I would recommend Hatchery Hill to a friend.

submitted by Eva S. - |Recommended: YesBest choice in the area — My husband and I recently relocated to this area, from IL. We had no idea where to look when we were looking for a place to live. We actually had found another location, but unfortunately, it fell through. It was fate though because The Landmark had advertised an apartment that we perfect for us. The Landmark has everything we were looking for and more. the location is perfect, and as we are avid bikers the path to the capital trail is definitely the cherry on top. Management has been great with our needs, and in winter, the speed of snow removal hands down is the fastest we have ever seen. Choosing to live here was the best decision we made.

The property manager Melissa saw us the same day we called and answered all our questions without hesitation. She was so friendly and fun that it made our search an easy decision to stay here.

submitted by Mohammed H. - |Recommended: YesDecent Place, some issues needed to address. — It decent place. However there many unattended cars parked in parking lot. There is silver Nissan without licence plate parked unmoved. Also a dark older truck is park since past few months. You can see that unmoved dirty truck as you enter the lot. Not sure if people are using apartment parking lot to store their cars.

submitted by Amanda C. - |Recommended: YesThe Landmark is inviting, clean, spacious, and tenant-oriented — Though only living here for approximately four months, I couldn't be happier that we chose The Landmark as our home. The unit is extremely spacious for what we pay with in-unit laundry, the remodeled kitchen is gorgeous, and free surface parking for guests is a huge plus The walls are thick and prevent noise from neighboring units and the common areas are clean and always smell pleasant. Additionally, the fitness center is large and has a variety of equipment to use Only got a change to go in the pool once this season and haven't set foot in the clubhouse quite yet, but I anticipate that will change this summer

submitted by Joseph D. - |Recommended: YesLarge rooms, good storage space, decent on noise — So far I have enjoyed living at the landmark. The location is great for being outside of downtown. There is easy access to most any amenity needed, and there a few great restaurants in walking distance.

submitted by Elizabeth K. - |Recommended: NoService Level Highly Dependent on Property Manager — There's no longer a way to email the office and they NEVER pick up the phone anymore. The PT people there can't answer any questions. I was picking up a package and potential renters asked who provides electricity and cable. The lady didn't know. Dhemrey was great. She got back to people and maintenance seemed more on top of things. Previous managers were okay too.

submitted by Lauren S. - |Recommended: NoDecent Property — The apartments themselves are pretty decent. Our appliances are a little outdated but they are updating them to my knowledge . The biggest issue is the constant turnover of office managers. I've lived in the complex for going on 4 years and have had around a dozen different managers. Things absolutely fall through the cracks with each change and by the time the new manager is up to speed, they are moved to a different property and we start the process all over again.

submitted by Ryan B. - |Recommended: NoIts falling apart — Dont. I have put through 16 requests for the condition of my apartment and the grounds. I feel sorry for the maintenance guy being the only person who has to handle this place. The building is literally falling apart faster than it can be fixed.
